John
Riedl Jr.: Owner Airmotive Enterprises is a family business of the Riedl
family. John Sr. started the FBO here in 1958. John
Jr. eventually joined the team and assisted his father in the
flight training and FBO business. Many successful students
have received their training from John Jr. While John
still owns Airmotive he enjoys retirement and antiquing in
Duluth Minnesota.
Steve
Arhart: Vice President / Business Manager Steve Arhart came to Airmotive in 1987 to help us as a line
technician and forgot to leave. Now Steve is here to
assist you as our business manager. With 18 years of
experience Steve knows how to make your visit to Airmotive
enjoyable. Steve received his private pilots license here
in 1987. On your next visit Steve is looking forward to
assisting you.
Kai
Brings: Chief Flight Instructor Kai joined our staff in 2002. He is a CFI, CFII and MEI.
He has a long history in
instructing aviation and other fields. Kai has specialized in
instructing accelerated flight training and teaches the
10 day instrument course
and the 5-day commercial course.
He has successfully trained over 50 students in these courses.
Kai is originally from Germany but now calls Staples, MN his home.

Charles Scott: Certified
Flight Instructor, Director of Charter Operations Charles has been with Airmotive since 1994. Charles
currently holds a Commercial Single Engine Land and Sea,
Multiengine Land Instrument Airplane. He is also rated as
a Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor and Multiengine
Instructor. In his time away from the airport he is a full
time law enforcement officer. He also instructs aerobatic and tailwheel students in his 7KCAB Citabria.
Andy
Dunlap: Aircraft Maintenance Andy Dunlap is our "Airplane Faith Healer" at
Airmotive. Andy has 20 years of experience here at
Airmotive working on all types of aircraft from gliders to
helicopters. Andy is a graduate of Winona Aviation
University (1978). He is a licensed A&P rated with
IA. Andy is here for all your maintenance needs.

Duane
J Vogt: Chief Pilot Duane Vogt is one of our Charter Pilots at Airmotive.
Duane started flying in 1981 with Airmotive Enterprises.
He received his private through his Multi Engine Instructor with
us. Duane Served in the U.S. Army from 1983 -1986 where he
thereafter finished his ratings and worked as a captain of the
metroliner for U.S. Air Express (Air Midwest) from 1989 -
1991. Duane has been the chief pilot at Airmotive for 13
years and has 15 years of 135 experience. Duane is a
certified FAA examiner. He has a total of 14,000 hours
6500 of which are multi-engine.
Dave
Ahlers: A&P
Dave joined Airmotive in 2002. He is a native of Brainerd
and left his hometown long enough to complete his mechanical
training. Dave is now involved in all aspects of aviation
maintenance here at Airmotive. He is also a Student Pilot
working towards his Private Pilot Certificate.
