John Skillicorn:
"I am a private pilot who in
December 1998 obtained my Instrument Rating and in November 2001
my Commercial rating through Airmotive Enterprises.
"Chuck" Scott, was my main instructor but at times I had
other instructors when he was unavailable. The entire
learning experience was handled very professionally in dealing
with the stresses that one encounters in mastering the
ratings. I highly recommend the Airmotive team to anyone
wanting well qualified and conscientious instructors."
Michael Linn:
"After 25 years of wanting to get my
instrument rating but never finding the time and hearing all the
horror stories about it taking years, changing instructors,
scheduling problems, etc. I just never got it done.
Then I heard about Airmotive's 10 day instrument course, I could
take a week off work and it would be done - perfect.
Airmotive's instructors were very professional, the simulator was
top notch, and everything went as they said it would. They
scheduled the examiner and everything was set, in 10 days I would
be an instrument pilot and I was. I was even able to get in
some actual instrument time. I recommend them
completely! Now no one has an excuse for not getting their
instrument rating. P.S. A little benefit at the end - my
insurance went down."
Clayton Shepard:
"I
just wanted to thank you for the excellent experience during your
Accelerated 10-Day Instrument School. You definitely delivered on
your promise of IFR in 10 days. Actually, I was able to complete
the entire course as well as the check-ride in 8 ˝ days! I was
skeptical at best prior to my arrival. You met and exceeded every
claim you made.
I'm sending
this note to express my sincere gratitude to my Instrument
Instructor, Kai Brings, for the thorough job he did in training me
for my instrument rating. His knowledge and understanding of
aviation is exceptional. In addition, his ability to identify the
learning techniques that would work for me, made a big difference
in my training and overall learning experience. The classroom
environment was perfect. While I had one extremely frustrating day
during the duration of my training, he was somehow able to talk me
through it and refocus my attention to the tasks at hand. This
demonstrates his expertise as an instructor and one that I would
highly recommend to others.
I want to commend you on your
teaching skills. You were very patient with me and never got
irritated. You corrected some of the bad habits I’ve developed
since getting my private ticket and taught me other skills that I
will retain for years to come. Your knowledge and understanding of
what you are teaching is phenomenal
Once again,
I'd like to thank you for the terrific job you did with my
training. It was a pleasure working with you and I certainly hope
to come back to you again when it's time to pursue my commercial
rating.
I was told by several other
pilots prior to enrolling in Accelerated IFR courses they only
teach you enough to get your IFR rating…and that true IFR training
had to come from months of instruction. They couldn’t have been
more wrong based on my experience with you and your 10-Day
Instrument Accelerated Program. By the time I took my check ride,
I felt totally confident of both my knowledge (oral exam, weather,
and flight planning) and my IFR flying skills. Because of the
Brainerd weather, I was able to experience some real IMC
conditions. The check-ride was very comprehensive and by no means
did I ever feel that examiner was working for you and was just
there to issue ratings.
And finally, thanks for your
patience, professionalism, courtesy, and objective insight into
the world of flying. It is because of you that I am truly a
better pilot and a better person.
Thanks again."
